Spaghetti Dinner to Benefit Austin Le Mon

Austin Le Mon is a local boy who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Bone Cancer. He and his family are doing a lot of traveling back and forth to Gainesville for treatments. Austin's Hope Foundation is holding a spaghetti dinner and holiday shopping event at Tiano's Restaurant on November 14th. Dinner is from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

There will be several local vendors there with Holiday Ornaments, Crafts and other items available to purchase.

The meal includes pasta, bread, salad, drink and dessert, all for $10.00. You can purchase tickets in advance by calling Marianne at 478-9920 or Lorri at 314-5887. Take-outs available. Tiano's is located at 1000 Wayne Ave at the City Golf Course.

Cudas Unhooked Jalapeno Open

 
Clancy's Cantina Jalapeno open golf tournament is Saturday, November 5th. It starts at 8:00 am at Hidden Lakes Golf Club. It will be a two person team scramble and all proceeds will benefit Cudas Unhooked and the American Cancer Society. The entry fee is $60.00 and you can sign up to golf at Clancy's on Flagler Ave. Not a golfer, sponsor a hole for $100.00. There will be door prizes raffles and the first person to get a hole in one on hole #13 wins dinner for two for a year at Clancy's.

PAWS for Patriots

The Ponce Inlet Lions Club will be holding a fundraiser at Down the Hatch Restaurant to support PAWS for Patriots, a Southeastern Guide Dog Program that provides assistance dogs to disabled veterans. The event is November 11th from 12-5 pm. Down the Hatch is located at 4894 Front St in Ponce Inlet. For $10.00 you will get a meal of fried fish, cheese grits, coleslaw and hushpuppies. There is will be a silent auction, door prizes and gift basket raffles and an hourly 50/50 raffle.

Come on out and get some great food, learn more about the PAWS for Patriots program and support our military veterans!

Around Town-Things To Do


Here are some things coming up to do around New Smyrna Beach:

The Lions Club is holding their annual rummage sale on Friday, October, 28th and Saturday, October 29th beginning at 8:00am. The Lions Clubhouse is located at 2340 Sunset Drive. If you have items to donate to the rummage sale call the Lions at 386-426-1359.

The VFW Post 4250 will hold a haunted hay ride with food and games from 5-9pm on Saturday, October 29th. The VFW is located at 2350 Sunset Drive. The cost is free and the ride is for children 14 and younger. 

This Wednesday, October 26th, from 3-5pm the Edgewater Public Library will hold a fall festival. This will feature games, face painting, snacks and prizes.

Edgewater Fire Rescue holds Bingo every Tuesday at 6:30pm at the Association Fire Hall, located at 2616 Hibiscus Dr in Edgewater.

The Elks Club located at 820 W. Park Ave, has lunch daily from 11:30-2pm and on Tuesday they have a spaghetti dinner from 5pm-7pm.

VFW Post 4250 in NSB has Philly Cheesesteak lunch served from noon to 6pm on Wednesdays. Bike night is each Thursday starting at 5pm. Food and drinks available.
