Fido Fiesta

This Thursday March 31st will be the next Fido Fiesta at Clancy's! Sillie Willie's Pet Boutique will provide cookies for the pups. Please bring a donation for Sophie's Circle, Volusia County's ONLY pet food bank. Sophie's is dangerously low on pet food and many local pet owners rely on them to feed their pets during tough times. The goal is always to keep pets out of shelters and Sophie's helps do that locally!

Bring your pup, but please keep them on a leash! Please support your local business!

Interesting Facts

Interesting facts about New Smyrna Beach....these are from Sperling's Best Places.

Our population is 22,909, this is full time residents. 58% are married and the average household is 2.02 people. Our unemployment rate is scary at 11.7% and the cost of living here is 1% over the national average. We have 230 days of sunshine and our air quality is 92.6 out of 100. Which is good since our water quality is a dismal 35 out of 100. The average household income is $45, 358. Across the board water quality in Volusia County is horrible, air quality is good....so we take our many days of sunshine, breathe easy....and buy bottled water!

Sunday, March 27th you can help. Cuts For Cudas will be taking place at 521 Canal Street, in the parking lot behind KokoMo's Salon. The fun starts at 9am and will run until 3pm. Five local salons are participating and there will be haircuts, chair massages, tanning, prizes and much more.

Please consider dropping by and having some fun for this fantastic local organization. Every dollar goes right back into supporting kids from our local school. If you are busy on Sunday drop by KoKoMo's and make a donation anytime between now and the 27th.

Not sure about you but the thought that we have high school students in this community that are actually classified as homeless is not acceptable.
