The 2nd Annual Salt Spray 5K will be held on Sunday, November 28th. Registration to participate in this event is going on right now and you can get your registration forms
here. You can also sponsor participants, get the schedule of events and much more. This race is held on the beach there will also be a fun run for the kids!
The proceeds from this annual event support Halifax Health - Hospice of Volusia/Flagler and the New Smyrna Beach High School Cross Country Team.

I am disappointed about the date of the Salt Spray. Ever since last year, I have been training for the 5K walk. Last year the date was Nov. 22, 2009 just before Thanksgiving. I thought the Salt Spray would be before Thanksgiving again this year, but it isn't. I won't be here for the race and am disappointed. Maybe next year it will work out better.
