Surfing Is For Life

This was a very sad Labor Day weekend in New Smyrna Beach. Mr. Fernandez was remembered today with a paddle out at the beach. Mr. Fernandez was a hugely popular teacher at NSB High School and so many of his current and former students have commented and remembered him on this Facebook Page.

Please go there and read the tributes. Not only was Mr. Fernandez an awesome teacher but first and foremost, he was a kick ass father....he was great husband and his family will never be the same without him.

Condolences to Debbie, his wife, Ysa, his daughter, Zale and Kino his sons....we are so very sorry for your loss.

Mr. Fernandez did die doing what he loved, but he did leave a major void in an entire school, and more importantly in a family. Say a prayer for them tonight....and again tomorrow.
