Around Town-Weekend Events

The Stingray 5K is tomorrow, the race starts at The NSB Parks and Recreation office at 1000 Live Oak Street. It starts at 8:00 am. The cost is $30.00 for adults $20.00 for those 17 and under. Support your local school and come out and run.

The East Coast Cruisers Monthly Classic Car show is on Canal Street from 4pm-8pm on Saturday.

There is a model train show at the Fairgrounds this weekend, it is from 9am-4pm on Saturday.

The 20th Annual NSSA East Coast Surfing Championship is going on today through the weekend. It is being held at the NSB Inlet.

Edgewater United Methodist Church is holding a Chicken BBQ tomorrow. There will also be and antique car show. The event runs from 9am-2pm. Dinners may be eaten in or out and a $8.00 donation is requested.

A 50 and older Men's Softball League is forming in NSB. They will play at the NSB Sports Complex on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Check their website for more details, or call Tom Coriale at 386-304-2968.
