Meet Justin Kennedy

Politics in Volusia County has never been more important. We face a myriad of issues and need solutions. The bulk of my readers are in County Council District 3. One of the candidates is Justin Kennedy. Justin is currently a City Commissioner in the city of Edgewater. He owns a business in southeast Volusia County, his children go to school here and his extended family lives here. He has a vision for our county and I believe he will get things done for us just as he has in Edgewater.

I do not have anything negative to say about his opponents which are Jim Hathaway and Deb Denys, Jim has been on the New Smyrna City Council for a very long time and Deb Denys is a respected business woman in New Smyrna Beach. However, I know Justin Kennedy and his family personally and count them among my closest friends. I have talked at length with him about the problems we have in our area of the county, about the road blocks the county faces and his plans to navigate through that to get us moving in the right direction.

Justin is not a career politician and his responsibility and allegiance lies solely with the people of southeast Volusia County. The business owners, firefighters, teachers, police, retail and hospitality workers and the children who go to school here, that are the future of our area.

If you would like to take some time and meet Justin and get to know him and what he stands for, I invite you to attend a get together at Crabby Joe's at the Sunglow Pier on Tuesday, June 26th. It will run from 5:30 until 7:30 and drinks and light refreshments will be served.

You can RSVP to 386-314-9180 or email me directly. I will be there and look forward to meeting you!

Crabby Joe's is located at 3701 South Atlantic Avenue - Daytona Beach Shores
