If you enjoy a party on New Year's Eve you have a couple of choices in New Smyrna Beach this year...
Fireworks kick off the annual New Year's Eve Party on Flagler Ave. Fireworks start at 9pm at the corner of Flagler and Cooper. Five great parties follow at Om Bar, Traders, Clancy's, Peanuts and Flagler Tavern.
Early birds will find a party at Brannon Center starting at 1:00 pm. The New Year will be celebrated at 5 pm. The same time as Finland, Greece and Turkey. This party features a jazz quartet, buffet and champagne toast at "midnight". The cost is $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door. Brannon Center is located at 105 S. Riverside Drive.
The American Legion Post 17 is hosting a New Year's Eve party at their post located at 619 W. Canal Street. A steak and shrimp dinner will be served, there will be entertainment, a champagne toast at midnight, dancing, and a continental breakfast served before going home. The cost is $30.00 per person.
