Just in time for Back to School purchases, the State of Florida will once again be participating in the Sales Tax Holiday Weekend.
The 2014 Tax Free Shopping dates are August 1 through August 3rd. For three days Florida stores will offer discounts to all shoppers – Florida residents, and visitors to the state. The tax holiday begins on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 12:01am and continues until Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 11:59pm.
The Sales Tax Holiday is designed help out with the cost of school supplies and clothing, but is not limited to purchases for children. Items that are included in the list include:
- Clothing
- Footwear
- Certain clothing accessories
- Certain school supplies
- Personal computers and certain related accessories
