New Flag is Flying

A few weeks back there was some news coverage about the flag that flies over the old K-Mart Plaza in NSB. It was ripped and seriously faded. Rosemaire May heard about it. She is a local resident and lost her son Russell Lee while he was serving in the military on August 3, 1984.

Ms. May was talking about the flag with Josh Cotelesse of C's Waffles one day and she decided to take care of it. She contacted the American Legion who provided a new flag, They came out this morning, retired the old one and gave it to Ms. May in honor of her son. The new flag is now flying!
